Garrisons Go Hiking /// Vasquez Rocks

The morning of Jake's birthday we did a short family hike at Vasquez Rocks. I hadn't been there in years. It was hot, dusty, sunny, rocky (obviously) but DARN cool. Nature is amazing. We explored for a while and ate Chex Mix until Jake decided he was DONE. My kids (and I) are so fair skinned and they just turned bright red from the heat. We guzzled a lot of water. And the babies did great, but were wicked sweaty. I look forward to going back when our kids can walk...and walk willingly.
